Caribbean 1500

On November 4, the Swan 46 "Lightheart" left with the fleet from Hampton, VA, bound for Tortola, in the British Virgin Islands, about a 1,300NM mile sail. We were forced to turn back on the first day owing to a broken alternator bracket. Once we restarted a day later we had a challenging few days, as the wind didn't drop below 30 knots. The trip took 9 days and will not soon be forgotten by any of the crew.
